Carrot Cake Oatmeal

If bugs bunny did breakfast it would probably look like this!

With just a few spices and some energy boosting maca powder you can transform the most basic bowl of oatmeal into a nourishing Autumnal treat! Here’s what you need to make it:

INGREDIENTS:
⠀⠀⠀ ⠀
1/2 cup oats
1 small grated carrot
1 tsp maple syrup
1/2 tsp cinnamon powder
1/4 tsp nutmeg powder
1/4 tsp ginger powder
1 tsp vivo life maca powder
2 tbsp chopped dates
Pinch of salt

METHOD:
⠀⠀⠀ ⠀
1. Place the oats and grated carrot in a saucepan with 1 cup of water. Add in the spices and maca and mix well. Transfer to a medium high heat and bring to the boil.

2. Reduce heat to a gentle simmer and cook for a further 4-5 minutes, stirring consistently until you reach your desired consistency!

3. Add in the chopped dates, maple syrup and salt then give it one final mix. Serve with your favourite toppings and enjoy!
