SWEET POTATO PIE SMOOTHIE

Ok, we know what you’re thinking. Sweet potato... in a smoothie? 

This combo might sound a little unusual but we promise it is one of the tastiest ways to refuel after a tough workout!

Sweet potatoes are an excellent source of complex carbs, making them perfect to replenish glycogen stores after exercise. Add in a scoop of our plant based protein for those all important amino acids and you’ve got the perfect recipe for post workout recovery.

INGREDIENTS:
⠀⠀⠀ ⠀
1 medium sweet potato (baked, peeled and chilled)
1 frozen banana
1 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp ginger
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1/8 tsp cloves
1 scoop Vivo Life Perform Protein Powder

METHOD:

1. Add all ingredients to a high powered blender with just enough water to make it blend.

2. Serve topped with some cacao nibs, dried fruit and your favourite nut butter.
